Is there a deposit or charge for no-shows?
We don't charge anything in advance. But if you can't make it, please cancel your reservation so we can free the table for other guests.
Are you open on bank holidays and Christmas?
Bank holidays and special periods may vary. Check our social media or call us to confirm.
Can I book for a hen party or work event?
Of course. For groups with a special occasion (hen dos, birthdays, work dinners) contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp. We look at each case individually and make sure everything is ready.

For larger groups (from 7–8 people) we can help guide the choices to keep service smooth. Get in touch and we'll talk it through — we don't have a fixed set menu but we'll find what works best for your group.

Menu & Kitchen
Do you offer gluten-free options?
We offer a gluten-free pinsa base, gluten-free pasta (on request) and many naturally gluten-free dishes. However, our kitchen is not a flour-free environment, so it is not suitable for coeliacs due to possible cross-contamination. Suitable for non-coeliac gluten intolerance.
Do you deliver?
No. Biga is meant to be enjoyed in person. We do offer takeaway (collection from the restaurant).
Can I collect an order from Biga?
Yes. Call us, place your order and collect it at the agreed time. We cook fresh: there may be a few minutes' wait.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card and cash. We do not accept Bizum.
Do you have an allergen menu?
Yes, available in the restaurant and digitally at bigarest.com/alergenos.
Can I bring children?
Yes. We don't have a fixed children's menu, but we adapt portions and pasta dishes for them.
What exactly is Pinsa Romana?
Pinsa Romana is the lighter, more digestible cousin of pizza. The dough ferments for up to 72 hours using wheat, rice and soy flour — crispy outside, fluffy inside and 100% vegan. Find out more on our story page.
Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes, we have a genuine vegetarian menu: salads, pinsas and pasta without meat or fish. The pinsa dough is 100% vegan. Check the menu for current options.
Can I celebrate a birthday or special occasion?
Of course! Just mention it in the notes when booking, or give us a call and we'll sort it out. We're happy to make your occasion special.
Do you have a set lunch menu?
No, we work à la carte only. All our food is cooked fresh to order.
How long does the pinsa dough ferment?
Between 48 and 72 hours. That long cold fermentation is what makes pinsa so light and easy to digest — the dough develops its own flavour and is far gentler on the stomach than a conventional pizza.
Where do your ingredients come from?
We work with fresh seasonal produce and imported Italian ingredients for the things that can't be substituted: mozzarella, burrata, charcuterie... The balance between local produce and Roman recipes is our foundation.
Can you adapt dishes for intolerances (lactose, egg…)?
Yes, as much as possible. Let us know about your intolerance when booking or on arrival and we'll find the best option. We have gluten-free dough, lactose-free alternatives and several dishes naturally free from common allergens.
What is the Spritz Club? What spritzes do you have?
The Spritz Club is our cocktail offering built around Aperol, Campari and other Italian bases. We serve classic Aperol Spritz, Hugo Spritz, limoncello Spritz and seasonal variations. The menu changes, so there's always something new to try.
Do you have a wine list or just cocktails?
We have a wine list (reds, whites and rosés), beers, soft drinks and our selection of Spritz and Italian cocktails. Something for every table.
Do you have homemade desserts?
Yes. The dessert menu changes with the season but always includes house-made options. Tiramisu, Torta di Caccio… leave room.
